[ARCHIVED] Gallegos Convicted on Crimes to Include Internet Sexual Exploitation of a Child

On July 12, 2012, 42-year-old Nathan Isaac Gallegos of Albuquerque, NM was convicted of Internet Sexual Exploitation of a Child and two counts of Criminal Solicitation to Commit Sexual Assault on a Child by One in a Position of Trust by a Douglas County Jury. Gallegos will be sentenced in September 2012.

In June 2010, Gallegos was arrested by members of the New Mexico Attorney General’s Office on an outstanding warrant issued by the Parker Police Department, which participates in the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.

The Parker Police Department is a member of the national Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force, which is funded by a grant from the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention. Parents are reminded to monitor their children's online activity.
