[ARCHIVED] Parker Police Department Presents "Become A Weather Spotter"

Attendees learn about cloud features that lead to severe weather such as “wall clouds” and “mesocyclones.” Thunderstorm safety is discussed as well as where to get warnings for severe weather. There are no tests, just instruction. The class is open to anyone interested in the weather - you must be 18 or older to receive certficiation.

Class will be held on Tuesday, April 17, 2012 from 6:30 to 9 p.m. at the Parker Police Department, 18600 E. Lincoln Meadows Parkway.

To register, please contact Kathy Henry at 303.805.6586 or khenry@parkeronline.org.
