[ARCHIVED] Parker Police Host Scout Night

On Wednesday, May 7, 2014 the Parker Police Department will host a merit badge training for elementary school aged Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts. The event will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Parker Police Department, 18600 E. Lincoln Meadows Pkwy. The training will help cover the scout requirements for the following sections:

Emergency Preparedness
In this section, scouts will learn how to prepare themselves and their families for emergency situations. They will learn how to make a 72-hour preparedness kit for their family and pets and how to create a communication plan for their family.

CSI
Learn about what our Crime Scene Investigators do –it’s NOT always what you see on T.V.!

Crime Prevention
How to prevent crime and what you can do to assist law enforcement in the fight against crime.

Speak with a Police Officer
Tour a patrol vehicle and have time to ask a Parker Police Officer any question you can think of.

**Badges are NOT given out the night of the event. It is the troop's responsibility to purchase and complete all requirements of each badge.

Space is limited and pre-registration is required. Walk-ins will not be accepted. Scout leaders and groups must check-in at least 15 minutes prior to the start of the program.
