[ARCHIVED] NEW DATES - Parent-Teen Safe Driving Workshop

Teen Drivers

The Parker Police Department will be hosting two ‘What do You Consider Lethal?’ workshops:
Monday, Jan. 20, 2014
Monday, Feb. 3, 2014
Monday, March 3, 2014

All workshops are hosted at the Police Department from 7 to 8 p.m. This parent-teen safe driving workshop is designed for drivers age 14 to 18 and their parent/guardian. The ultimate goal is to save lives by changing attitudes and behaviors that become lethal behind the wheel of a car. The course will focus on the dangers or reckless and distracted driving.

Reckless and distracted driving is the #1 killer of teens in America. This deadly epidemic claims the lives of 3,000 teens each year and seriously injures 30,000 more. This can be prevented with a combination of quality education, training and enforcement. This workshop will provide information about good decision making behind the wheel for drivers and passengers of all ages.

Please register for this workshop at http://co-parker.civicplus.com/forms.aspx?FID=89. All attendees must register prior to the event and attend with at least one parent/guardian.
