How do I hire off-duty police for an event?
Effective August 1, 2016, the standard hourly rate for contracted off duty Parker Police Officers is $54.00 per hour, per officer, with a 3-hour minimum per officer. In the event that the Police Services provided by the Officers exceed three (3) hours, the Contractor will be invoiced for the additional amount at $54.00 per hour, as described in Paragraph 3 above.
For short-notice requests (less than 72 hours’ notice), the hourly rate will be $69.00 per hour, per officer, with a 3-hour minimum per officer. In the event that the Police Services provided by the Officers exceed three (3) hours, the Contractor will be invoiced for the additional amount at $69.00 per hour, as described in Paragraph 3 above.
A marked police vehicle will be provided to the Officer(s) at no charge to the Contractor.
Cancellation of Police Services must be received within five (5) working days prior to the start of the Police Services. If cancellation is not received within five (5) working days, the Contractor will be billed for three (3) hours for each Officer using the Rate Schedule.
