The pain of the STEM School community in Highlands Ranch is deep and has been felt throughout Douglas County and the nation. We hope the love of friends and family provides the strength and compassion they need during this difficult time.
We know this tragedy has increased the anxiety of Parker parents sending their kids to school each morning. Please know that your voices have been heard. In an effort to address your concerns, we are taking steps to increase security at Town of Parker Schools for the remainder of the school year.
Throughout the final two weeks of the school year, you will see increased patrols and police presence at Town of Parker Schools. Working with the Douglas County School District, we are placing an increased emphasis on a safe conclusion to the school year. If you see one of our Officers at your school or parked outside, stop and say hi. Let them know if you have noticed anything that seems off or any concerns you may have. Working together is the best way to keep our kids safe.
We look forward to a safe and successful conclusion to the school year and seeing your kids at H2O’Brien, Salisbury Park or National Night Out enjoying our amazing Town and community. Thank you for working with us to help keep our community and kids safe.
