Vehicle Trespass and Burglary Suspects Arrested

Homepage

Parker Police Officers responded to the 8400 block of Wheatgrass Circle when a resident reported two male suspects trespassing in his vehicle and a neighbor’s vehicle shortly before 5:30 a.m. The victim called police and was able to maintain visual contact with the suspects until they went into a nearby backyard.

With the assistance of the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office and the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, approximately twenty vehicles established a perimeter and began the search for these suspects. A code red was sent out to advise residents of the heavy police presence in the area.

After a short foot pursuit through open space, both juvenile suspects were taken into custody at approximately 6:40 a.m. without incident.

In addition to the vehicle trespasses they are suspected of committing burglary after entering a home’s garage.

We would like to thank the resident who first called us as well as the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office and Douglas County Sheriff’s Office for helping us catch these suspects. This is a great reminder to all Parker residents to stay vigilant and watch out for your family and neighbors and call us when you see something suspicious.
